EA Sports released a major roster update for College Football 27, adding more than 1,900 players across the country. Among the new additions are 12 Michigan Wolverines who were previously missing from the game.
The update gives fans the chance to use several freshmen, depth pieces, and position corrections that were not available at launch.
Offensive Additions
Here are the six new offensive players and their overall ratings:
- WR Salesi Moa — 78 overall
- RB Bryson Kuzdzal — 75 overall
- K Jacob Baggett — 73 overall
- TE Mason Bonner — 66 overall
- TE Nico Crawford — 63 overall
- WR Jaylen Pile — 62 overall
The biggest addition on offense is five-star wide receiver Salesi Moa. EA has him rated as the No. 4 receiver on the roster, tied with Travis Johnson. Fellow freshman Jaylen Pile also makes his debut.
Bryson Kuzdzal enters the game for the first time. He sits just below Micah Ka’apana (76 overall) on the running back depth chart. Kicker Jacob Baggett and tight ends Mason Bonner and Nico Crawford (listed as a tight end even though he is a long snapper in real life) round out the offensive newcomers.
Notable omission still missing: Wide receiver Channing Goodwin remains out of the game.
Defensive Additions
The six new defensive players and their ratings:
- S Jordan Deck — 75 overall
- DT Titan Davis — 73 overall
- Edge Julius Holly — 73 overall
- CB I’Marion Stewart — 72 overall
- DT Travis Moten — 71 overall
- LB Aden Reeder — 63 overall
Jordan Deck debuts at safety and is ranked higher than both Jordan Young and Mason Curtis in the game. Titan Davis, Julius Holly, and Travis Moten add much-needed depth to the defensive line.
I’Marion Stewart was previously in the game as a wide receiver. EA corrected his position and moved him to cornerback. Freshman linebacker Aden Reeder also enters the roster, sitting behind Markel Dabney.
Some defensive linemen such as Bobby Kanka and McHale Blade are still not in the game.
Why This Matters
College Football 27 allows players to opt in so EA can use their name, image, and likeness. Several Michigan players were missing at launch, creating incomplete depth charts. This update fills many of those gaps and gives Dynasty and Road to Glory players more accurate Wolverine rosters.
Salesi Moa’s addition is especially notable given his real-life recruiting pedigree and early buzz in fall camp.
What Happens Next
The roster update is now live. Fans can download it and start using the newly added Michigan players immediately. Additional updates are expected throughout the season as more athletes opt in or ratings are adjusted based on on-field performance.
The Bigger Picture
These additions make Michigan’s in-game roster more complete, particularly at receiver, running back, and along the defensive line. While a few notable names remain missing, the update is a clear step forward for Wolverines fans who want to play with the full current squad in College Football 27.
