Who Is Monica Velazquez-Stiak?
Monica Velazquez-Stiak is a decorated former Ohio State artistic swimmer who competed for the Buckeyes from 2014 to 2018. During her time as a student-athlete, she helped the program win multiple national championships and earned individual honors, including being a two-time U.S. Collegiate National Championship Individual High Point Award winner.
After graduation, she continued her involvement in the sport at the national level, serving as athlete safety and membership manager for USA Artistic Swimming. She also worked with national team programs and talent identification camps.

Velazquez-Stiak returned to her alma mater as an assistant coach in 2022. In her time on staff, she has contributed to the team’s continued success, bringing elite-athlete experience, choreography expertise, and a deep understanding of the Buckeye culture.
